関心
先史時代以来、日本を含めた東北アジア地域が、ユーラシア大陸で醸成された農耕・金属器・仏教・都城制などの様々な文化やしくみを受け入れながら、どのような独自の歴史的変遷をたどったのか、考古学の立場から復元を試みています。また、様々な自然科学的手法の考古学的適用と、それによって考古学的思考がどう変わるのかを、日々考えています。最近は、ユーラシア大陸東部における食文化の歴史を、主に考古生化学の方法を用いて研究しています。
