Human(ヒト)

Overview

Except for large animals such as cattle and horses, the human skeleton is characterized by having larger and longer parts than other animal bones. The human skeleton of an adult consists of around 206 bones, depending on the counting of the sternum.

And Some parts like the skull, fuse as they stop growing.

The surface of human bones is porous, while the surface of many animal bones (for example, wild boars, deer, antelopes) is smooth and condensed. Although this porous bone surface is also commonly seen in whales and pinnipeds, human bones are lighter in weight.

Other features in a human skeleton, such as the straightness and the cross-sectional shape of the long bone diaphysis, and the shape and roughness of the muscle attachment sites, are similar to the brown or black bear.
