A stroll garden built in the Tokushima castle at the start of the Edo period (early sixteenth century). It is characterized by gorgeous and skillful stone arrangements made with large and colorful stones of red, purple, and locally produced blue-green stones. It is said to have been designed and supervised by Ueda Sōko. It is designated a national scenic spot, and located in the city of Tokushima.
