A guide book to Kyoto published in response to the popularization of travel in the mid to late Edo period. Scenic spots and the precincts of shrines and temples are explained and illustrated. It was published in 1780 and its author is Akisato Ritō. It enjoyed great popularity, and inspired similar works throughout the country.
