A set of three Buddhist images, with a main figure in the center flanked by two attendants on the right and left. Combinations of main and attendant images include Shaka Nyorai plus Fugen Bosatsu and Monju Bosatsu; Yakushi Nyorai with Nikkō Bosatsu and Gakkō Bosatsu; Amida Nyorai plus Kannon Bosatsu and Seishi Bosatsu. Such Buddhist trinities are sometimes represented with stones in Japanese gardens and called "triad stones."
