basin front stone; lamp-lighting stone; right foot stone


1. One of the key stones comprising a crouching basin arrangement. It is usually placed in front of the water basin, to step on when washing one's hands.
2. An alternate name for the lamp-lighting stone hiage ishi.
3. A stone in a sand privy for placing the right foot.
