A garden in the temple which Tokuhime, sister of Fujiwara Hidehira and wife of Iwaki Norimichi, established in 1160. It is a Pure Land garden with a pond, having pebble beach shore edging, a central island, and standing stones, being placed in front of the southward facing Amida hall. The temple precinct, including the garden pond, is designated a national historic site, and is located in the city of Iwaki, Fukushima prefecture.
