A veranda water basin illustrated in both Tsukiyamateizōden (zenpen) and Tsukiyamateizōden (kōhen). It is a granite cylinder with the Chinese character for "star" inscribed on the side. This type of basin is placed directly on the ground, and has a round hole for the water on top.
