1. A Chinese term meaning an artificial mountain in a garden. Equivalent to tsukiyama (artificial hill) in Japanese.
2. One of the treasures of the Shōsōin. A miniature imitation of a mountain-and-water landscape, made on a cedar board with a combination of tree roots and trees of silver.
