Edo period author. Dates of birth and death unknown. In 1735, he published Tsukiyamateizōden in Kyoto. In later years, Akisato Ritō published a book with the same title, and accordingly the one by Kitamura is usually called "Part 1" (zenpen), and the one by Akisato is "Part 2" (kōhen) or the sequel.
